Why we built WebSoftReview

Every day dozens of promising web tools launch — and most are never seen. Here's why we think a hand-curated review feed still matters.

Every day, dozens of promising web tools quietly go live. Founders ship months of work into a feed-driven internet that gives them roughly twenty minutes of attention before the timeline moves on. Most of those products are never seen by the people who would love them.

Directories solved this once. But most of them have become submission dumps — hundreds of listings, no editorial filter, no signal. When everything is featured, nothing is.

WebSoftReview is our answer: a small, hand-curated feed of newly launched web software. Every submission is reviewed by a human. Most don't make the cut. The ones that do get a real write-up, not a scraped description and a screenshot.

We think curation is the product. If you agree, welcome — the feed updates daily, and the submission door is always open.
